Hello there! <waves>

I have always been an avid reader of a large variety of blogs and sites. Along the way, I start having this problem – I read, I bookmark, and I can never find it again in my big black hole of bookmarks (yes, Chrome, I’m looking at you).

So I started thinking, that keeping some of my links on my very own little blog, might help me to curate these babies easily. It’s also my small way of giving something back to the Internet after being a lurker for the longest time.

In Etui Trove, I hope you enjoy the little things I share here. Comments and feedback are always welcome. Flamers will be grilled and eaten with a spot of Kewpie mayo 😉

So fasten your seatbelts and let’s enjoy this joy ride ^^

  1. Hi – thanks for visiting my site and liking the post on Zenkai Girl. I wish more of my readers would react favorably when I post about J TV Series.

I just finished your post on the Kimono sightings in Tokyo. It was a fun read. I didn’t see any kimonos myself (in Tokyo on my last visit) but I was able to them all the time in Kyoto. The young geisha trainees called maikos do not live in the okiya (the geisha boarding house), so they must ‘commute’ to the geisha house from their homes or apartments. So it was a frequent occurrence to see them in the streets as the headed for work.

I also noticed the section about Hakone, and Hakone-Yumoto. I’ve been there twice. The first time I took a kodama from Tokyo station to Odawara then a bus to Hakone-Machi. The second time I took the Romance Train from Shinjuku Station to Hakone Yumoto. I walked around in town before taking another small train up to Miyanoshita.

A small note – you can add a widget for links quite easily. Open Site admin and you should see a menu on left side. Click The paint brush Icon – then the widgets. You should see a big list of widgets one of which is Links. Simply drag it to the sidebar and you’ve created a links section aka blogroll. Simply edit to add specific sites you like.

I’ve signed up to follow your blog.

    1. Thank you, Ming!
My blog has been sadly neglected, as I’ve been posting more on Instagram (as you can see ^^).
I’m already planning some new posts which should include Public Garden & the various vendors there (definitely covering you!) plus my upcoming Tokyo trip & buys ^D ^

    1. Hi Ferry,

I’m so sorry for the very late reply. I have been neglecting quite a fair bit 😦

I did buy a set of Rement Hello Kitty (Kyoto Sweets edition) in Hongdae, but I really can’t remember the shop name. It was just one of those random little shops we walked into.
